AKE’s Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport project reached its recorded final acceptance on 28 December 2018. The historical report describes indoor camera guidance, outdoor parking guidance and several parking-management functions within the airport project.

From launch to final acceptance
The project launched on 25 December 2017 and reached final acceptance in December 2018. These two milestones mark its progression from launch to the recorded acceptance event shown below.
Guidance across indoor and outdoor parking
The historical project report states that the indoor camera guidance and outdoor guidance scope monitored more than 10,000 spaces. The archived materials include a parking overview screen and photographs of an indoor parking area.
In a comparable airport project, the guidance brief should explain how each indoor or outdoor area is counted and how its information is presented to drivers.
Parking access is a separate part of the journey
The article also describes an LPR parking management and barrier-gate system, taxi dispatching and other management functions. Access management and space guidance serve different tasks, so their responsibilities and acceptance checks should be written separately in a new project brief.
Acceptance, handover and operational review
The remaining photographs document meetings associated with the project. For a similar implementation, a handover plan should connect the agreed scope, site tests, operating procedures and the people responsible for ongoing support.
Define success before deployment
Set acceptance criteria for the actual parking areas and intended functions. Avoid treating the total traffic handled by an airport as a tested throughput specification for an individual controller, lane or guidance sensor. Performance claims need their own measurement conditions.
